*Mbali is a Zulu word meaning ‘to bloom’ or ‘to blossom’. The mighty Zulu nation, is the most numerous ethnic group in South Africa and their historical territory covers the area known today as KwaZulu-Natal. The Zulu warriors were a powerful force on the continent. Perhaps one of their most famous victories was against British troops in the first engagement of the Anglo Zulu wars at the Battle of Isandlwana.
